Bear Haven

Bear Haven is a survival-based horror game where the player works as a night technician in an isolated cabin facility. The main task is to maintain the electrical systems and respond to alerts while avoiding hostile creatures that become active during the night. The game does not follow a fixed path—players must stay alert, move between rooms, and monitor different areas to detect threats early. Failure to respond in time can result in being caught, ending the shift immediately. There are no scripted patterns, so each night becomes more unpredictable than the last.

Tools and Limited Safety

The player is equipped with a flashlight and a basic monitoring system. Electricity failures and alarm triggers require physical movement through the building, forcing the player to leave safer zones. Doors cannot be locked, and hiding spots are few. The bears, which move silently through the structure, react to noise and light, making it necessary to stay hidden or move at the right time. Listening closely and tracking footsteps can provide clues about where to go next or when to remain still.

Progression and Increasing Threat

Each night introduces new mechanics, such as more aggressive enemies, multiple system failures, or longer blackout periods. The player must memorize room layouts, repair routes, and safe exits. There is no way to eliminate threats—only avoid them long enough to complete the shift. Bear Haven builds tension by reducing the player’s control over the environment. It challenges decision-making under pressure and requires constant attention to surroundings. The longer you last, the less predictable the threat becomes.
